Positano description

Positano is nestled in the heart of the Amalfi Drive, located where the Sorrentine Peninsula bends towards the South becoming the Gulf of Salerno. It seems to be standing, leaning against the mountain rock face, with many multicoloured houses that seem to cling to the mountain, sitting one on top of the other, framing a black volcanic beach. The town is very unique and incredibly attractive.  It is the kingdom of many flights of little steps, of narrow passageways enlivened and coloured by wonderful shops, lively bars and cafes, and restaurants that specialise in seafood.  However Positano is also rich in history and preserves many artistic and archaeological treasures. In the middle of the village is the impressive main church, called Santa Maria Assunta.  The beaches of Positano are formed from volcanic sand and small stones, which lend to the background. 

Location

The chapel is located only 1 km from the heart of Positano, along the panoramic driveway with breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast.

Chapel description

A lovely small chapel covered with ivy with a wonderful glass-window overlooking the sea, and a inner pastel frescoes. Incredible views of Positano bay from the church.

Room

The church  can host up to 25/30 guests. It is the ideal location for intimate weddings

Catholic only. Possibility of a catholic wedding with civil binding.

Music

Sacred music only prior priest's approval.
