SALLY PARDON & DANIEL FISHER - CIVIL WEDDING IN RAVELLO It's really hard to find the words to describe the experience of our wedding day, in Amalfi, which was organised so expertly through Wedding Italy. We knew it was going to be special and unforgettable, but the day far, far exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived in Amalfi, having never been there before, we were overwhelmed with emotion and amazed at the natural beauty of where we had chosen to wed. Because of the reassuring planning, which was all done via email, we really were very relaxed about the whole day and had no worries about anything going wrong (I must have been the most relaxed bride to be in the world!), and nothing did. We had 40 guests flying over and Wedding Italy organised pick ups from the airport and accommodation for them all, plus transfers for everyone on 'the day' between Ravello & Amalfi - it was expertly planned and so well organised. The reception we had at Santa Caterina could not have been better - the Manager gave us his personal service and was so relaxed and flexible it was an absolute dream. Everyone commented on the quality of the food and service we received - far better than we could have imagined. Thank you to the planner, the co-ordinator and the translator who all contributed to making our day the best day of our lives. ANTONELLA FOTO AND PETER JOHN SHAUB I cannot tell you enough how wonderful our wedding and our stay in Italy was... The Hotel Miramare was wonderful. They were extremely attentive, helpful and very gracious. The hotel was impeccable, the service was 5 star quality and despite the 100 steps up and 200 steps down. it was worth all the sweat to stay at such a beautiful hotel. It was perfect for our group. The hairdresser was great. Our interpreter was incredibly helpful and so sweet.. And the photographer and cameraman were wonderful as well. I cannot say enough about how incredible everything turned out.One of our biggest and most pleasant surprises was Hotel Palumbo. From the moment our group entered the hotel, their staff was ready to service. The section they reserved for us was perfect and better than ever expected. The flowers were absolutely AMAZING. I know my request for a particular design was asking a lot, but they succeeded in providing almost an identical design. The food, wine and service were also very incredible. I believe at one point we had 5 waiters serving us and our wine glasses were immediately refilled before they were half empty. Our wedding cake was to die for.. Peter and I still wish we had asked for another piece...It was so delicious! Our family had a wonderful time and we were so happy with everything. In addition, the people of Ravello and Positano were warm and welcoming. Everywhere we went crowds where cheering "Auguri". When we ended the night (around 1am), we walked by the Positano Bar above Hotel Miramare. The customers cheered and the bar owner poured a bottle of champagne for our family. Peter and I ended the night dancing in the middle of the street while the musicians played, "I can't help falling in love with you". It was a perfect ending to the most romantic wedding anyone could imagine. Above all this incredible agenda could have not been possible without all your help, coordination and dedication to providing us a fairy tale wedding. We are so happy and the memories of the day will never be forgotten. Thank you for all you have done, you have left us all with our mouths open in amazement. AUDREY SNODGRASS & PHILIP PANTOJA When we made the decision to get married in Ravello, Italy, we were a bit intimidated by the amount of paperwork we needed to complete prior to our departure, but even more daunting was the prospect of coordinating the actual events in Italy. Unfortunately, we did not know anyone in Italy to help us in our efforts, and we were a bit skeptical about hiring someone based on an internet profile, that is - until we found Weddingitaly.com Comparing Weddingitaly with two other services that we considered attractive options, we agreed that Weddingitaly offered a package that not only included everything we wanted, but was also less expensive than the two alternatives. However, we still contacted all three services via e-mail for more information, and again, we were most impressed by Weddingitaly, specifically because of the amount of useful information they provided in their response. The choice seemed clear, and we happily asked Weddingitaly to coordinate our special day. And special it was.... Everyone involved during this process, including the gentleman who accompanied us to the consulate, our interpreter, the owner of the flower store in Ravello, and the photographer (who, incidentally, took numerous lovely photographs) were not only incredibly helpful, but wonderfully charming. The woman who coordinated these individuals was no exception. She helped us plan our itinerary during our three-week stay in Italy, and her calls to us on the days leading up to our wedding made us feel completely at ease.
