Weddings in Siena - venue Civil weddings are celebrated in the Palazzo Pubblico, focal point of Piazza del Campo. This palace is a Gothic building that has served as Siena's town hall since 1300s, and nowadays houses a civic museum containing frescoes of the greatest artists of the Senese school. The marriage hall is a spectacular room covered by frescoes and has period furniture. Intimate, elegant and fabulous weddings can be planned in one of Italy's most ancient and dramatic town halls. |

Civil ceremony Only civil weddings are allowed. Weddings are performed by the Mayor of Town or Civil registrar. You can add personal vows, readings and poems to the ceremony. Possibility to perform weddings from Monday till Saturday. |

Travel schedules USA CITIZENS: Must arrive in Italy at least 3/4 days before the wedding in order to complete the legal requirements at the US Consulate CANADIAN, AUSTRALIAN, BRITISH NATIONALS: can complete the paperwork through correspondence. They have to arrive in Siena at least 2 days prior the ceremony in order to make a sworn declaration of Intent to marry before the civil registrar of Siena. |
