The town is a small medieval village perched on a hill on the way to the Alps and it is about 20 minutes from Udine, the main city of the area, and about 2 hours from Venice.
The road from Udine to San Daniele is a very beautiful panoramic street and we do suggest to stay in Udine and move on the wedding day to San Daniele.
