The land and a description

The Tuscan villa is just 20 minutes from Florence historical centre, very easy to reach from the highway that connects Florence with the most beautiful Tuscan towns. The villa represents a coveted historical home, it's construction goes back to the year 1596 : today it is used as anb event centre. The Italian Medici Villa, constructed on a design by Bernardo Buontalenti, by order of the Great Duke Ferdinando I and is nowadays put to multiple uses: meetings, weddings, gala-dinners, theme dinners, exhibitions. The villa has it's own independent kitchen and restaurant services, which enables it to prepare menus with the utmost care, to cater to any special requests formed by the clientele.

Hospitality

Just adjacent to the Italian villa, there is a beautiful 4 star hotel, constructed in the same period as was the villa, (in total harmony of the building when compared to the Medici residence demonstrates this), was, at one time, to separate the court's residence from that of the servants and pages. The hotel has 37 rooms, all with bathrooms and modern comforts, while respecting the original construction. The fireplaces have been maintained, as have been the historical stone wash-basins, the hanging, wood-beamed roofing and terracotta flooring. Each room possesses it's own personality and originality in it's furnishing and spaces.

Nearby at about 10 minutes walking, a wonderful new complex offers a good number of apartments situated in heart of the antique village. They derive from the renovation of the historical farm building with the connecting Patron housing. About 40 apartments for up to 100 guests! The apartments have an independent entrance and private internal parking facilities.

Wedding receptions

The villa allows receptions from 20 to 200 guests in beautiful inner halls. Classical Italian wedding receptions can also take place outside in the beautiful gardens but this is suggested for large groups of 70 or more.

Music & entertainment

Any type of music is allowed. Professional Italian musicians of the academy of Florence are suggested for both the ceremony and the reception. Night events can last long with a DJ or a live band. Special entertainments for weddings in Italy including fireworks on request.

Ceremonies

Protestant and symbolic Italian ceremonies weddings can be performed in the beautiful gardens and are suggested because everything can take place in the villa. Also Catholic weddings are welcome in the beautiful small church just 1 km away!
