AVilla for weddings in Tuscany: A Beautiful Tuscan farmhouses resort

The main building today houses the reception and common areas: swimming pool, restaurant, conference room, wellness centre, tennis and several apartments. The other two farmhouses are located on the hill facing Santa Maria and are easily reached by following a picturesque country road that intersects the vineyards. Each of the charming apartments is named after grape or olive varieties, reminding one of being in one of the most famous wine and olive oil producing areas in the world.

Hospitality

This location is suggested to spend a week or only few days with your dearest friends and relatives all together. Very competitive group rates available for our spouses and guests.
There are more than 45 apartments and rooms for 2 to 6 people divided in the 3 different villages (farmhouses). All guests have at their disposal, a panoramic swimming pool (adults and childrens) with a solarium. Situated within historical vineyards, you will find our restaurant which offers an abundant breakfast and buffet menu. For dinner, a "buffet campagnolo" or country buffet is offered with an extensive selection of typical Tuscan specialities. Also innumerable possibilities for outdoor activities: an example, mountain bike excursions through our grounds or perhaps even further afield to nearby lake where fishing is permitted. On request and if available, guided tours and wine tastings can be organised at Tignanello's cellars. Minibus tours of Chianti, Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and elsewhere are also available. A riding school is also in the vicinity offering horse rides. To welcome our guests, adept personnel are available from 8 am to 9 pm. Fax, internet and email services are also provided.

Tuscan Wedding receptions

At the Trattoria, in an informal and cozy atmosphere, are usually serves a wide range of typical dishes of the Chianti area, simple and at the same time traditional flavours and aromas: Tuscan canapés, salami of "Cinta Senese" (local speciality), Chianina beef on the grill, Chianti potroast, cheeses from Pienza, typical Florentine "schiacciata" , and homemade cakes. The Trattoria proposes a rich selection at a fixed price, ideal for lunch or Sunday brunch, but also à la carte choices. Reception up to 150 people also outside in the beautiful garden with views

Music & entertainment

Any type of music is allowed if renting the full complex for your group. Otherwise some restrictions are due if other guests are sleeping in the area.

Ceremonies

Catholic wedding in the near churches. Civil weddings performed at the town hall of Florence or nearby halls. Protestant and symbolic Italian ceremonies weddings can be performed in the beautiful garden. Legally binding ceremonies can be arranged in the gardens.
