I never believed in a "wedding planner" before I met Helga. As we started to think about our wedding, I was determined to do everything myself. Even though we wanted to get married in Italy without speaking a word of Italian, even though I had zero experience, I thought I was an organizing genius and wouldn't have any problems getting some flowers and a caterer. I was wrong. Besides that fact that "just some flowers and a caterer" would have been a very sad event, I very quickly had to admit that organizing a destination wedding, especially in Italy, is simply impossible without a person who understands the people and their ways, knows all relevant parties and has a long history of working in the area. Nevertheless, not all wedding planners are equal. After I had met/talked to a couple, I was ready to give up the idea and try to "somehow" manage on my own as none really matched my expectations in terms of taste, imagination, efficiency, responsiveness and just common sense. The minute I met Helga, however, I knew immediately that she would be great. Not only is she an extremely efficient, hard-working professional, but she is also a  charming, energetic, genuinely caring, beautiful and smart person. She brings together years of life & wedding planning experience and a young, fun attitude that makes working with her really enjoyable. Right from the start she was full of ideas, extremely responsive, always on track, very clear on the budget, reliable and great at guiding us. I had certainly lacked a realistic view on what an undertaking wedding planning was and can assure everyone that the agency fee is money well spent. Especially in our case (with us living in another country and only 4 months to go until the wedding date) it would have been absolutely impossible to get everything done without Helga's amazing time and money saving skills. The wedding day itself was also perfectly organized and, despite being a huge control freak, I could enjoy it without bothering too much about details, weather conditions or basically anything besides getting ready and managing my own excitement. The result was a dream wedding - honestly the best we have ever been to. We are so thankful to Helga and everyone else involved for this truly amazing experience - we will always remember it and we hope that you will make many more couples as happy as us. Everyone's wedding should be the best they have ever been to :-)
