Dear Tina,

Although we have not been in contact before, I have been very well aware of all the help you gave our son Ed, and of course his bride Maria, in arranging their marriage on Tuesday.

My wife and I would like to express our sincere appreciation of all that you have done. The whole event was superb, and nothing went wrong, and it surpassed everything that we hoped for. And the weather cooperated too!
It was a wonderful day, thanks to you, and the people who supported you. The hotel was faultless and the feast amazed everyone there. The translator was excellent and a great help to us all throughout. The harpist played beautifully, the younger generation enjoyed the disco, and the Deputy Mayor was a real gentleman who made the ceremony itself memorable with his dignity, but also with a little humour. The transport also went without the slightest hitch. All we now need is the photographs and video, which we are sure will be wonderful too.

Thank you so much for giving us all a day to remember.

Our apologies for the delayed response to you. We got back from venice a week ago and then have been very busy sorting out things here along with catching up with work. I knew that my Dad had responded so felt as if that gave us a little breathing space.
 
The whole weekend went pretty much as perfectly as it could. As you are doubtless aware trying to plan this remotely without ever seeing the venue gave us a fair amount of stress and apprehension. This was doubtless conveyed at times in emails when we were getting worried about time frames. Naturally you are much more experienced in these areas and gave us confidence and as you said with a few weeks to go ' everything will be fine' and it was better than fine.
 
Your colleague Rita was fantastic - please pass our thanks onto her. Likewise the photographer was very good as was Davide and the main waiter Claudio. As you know the weather on the day was fantistic and the whole weekend was one to remember. Everyone commented on how beautiful the day/weekend was.
 
I will give some full and feedback on the website in due course and looking forward to seeing the photos.
