A land with seductive power

A wonderful representative of the Mediterranean beauty, Puglia - otherwise known as Apulia - will be a trip into the core values of slow living. With a natural pace that allows visitors to really sink in the local culture anchored around food and family, Puglia will no doubt open the gates of your heart. The unpretentious look of the landscape is even more charming - think of it like a chivalrous character leaving all the space and attention to the beautiful white-washed towns scattered around the coastline, the ancient, rustic masserias populating the countryside and the baroque decadence of its heavily lived-in cities.

The over 800 km of coastline are probably the most targeted destination in the region, both north and south of Bari - at every stop, people can find stretches of unknown sandy paradise or sections of rugged promontories, karst cliffs falling onto romantic coves in front of the water.

Recreational activities

Slow down and enjoy life

Take your rental car and explore the area with your loved one without the need of a fixed schedule. If there is one thing that Puglia is so loved for, is its unpredictable character and the power of bringing out its best even in the most difficult circumstances. There are no fixed rules and a ton of possible holiday combinations ahead of you, where a mix of lazy and active adventures can give shape to a true wonderful time.

All activities are closely related to the chosen environment - whether you will target the seaside and get busy with a boat tour or simply lounging by a beach club - you will finally comprehend why Italians have longevity genes. The summer days can get smoking hot, so learn to use the central time of the day, from 12 until 4 o'clock to do something indoors and familiarise with the Italian concept of siesta, la pausa.

Keep busy with:

  • A day at the beach in Polignano
  • Visiting the home of Padre Pio
  • Excursion in Alberobello
  • Boat ride
  • Learning more about olive oil making
  • Yoga session in the park of the property
