A graceful country house in the heart of Umbria generously offering striking views of the lovely town of Todi. The property was skillfully brought back to life by its latest owner's mission to make this charming medieval lookout tower available to passersby and guests.

The ancient Roman walls and foundations, still visible today and which make up a large part of the building, the floors made of locally baked terracotta, an original well pumping spring water and dating back to the Middle Ages, and the multiple vaulted ceilings bear witness to the siteʼs rich history and culture.

Converted into a luxurious hotel, the estate is a perfect example of Umbrian warm hospitality, which suits equally well informal and more elegant events.

No minimum stay is required provided that the whole venue is booked exclusively for the event for at least 1 night, and there is also no time limit for the music in the night.

There’s a swimming pool from where you can enjoy infinite views of the Umbrian hills, and working great as an outdoor option for a symbolic wedding. The panoramic terrace containing the pool is covered by ancient terracotta pavements and has witnessed a long line of smaller events, usually welcome cocktails or pizza parties before, or after the big day. Multi-coloured roses and flowerbeds with rosemary and lavender, wisteria or climbing roses create the quintessential Italian-style atmosphere you are looking to have on your day.

Nearly 1,23 of the 57 acres are dedicated to wonderfully manicured gardens full of romantic niches and relaxing spots and frequently used for both ceremonies, and receptions.

Not far from the border of Tuscany and only 100 kilometres from Rome, this corner of Umbria is the perfect base from which you can jump on a visit of the numerous art cities in Central Italy.
The property is protected by 54 acres of timber forest consisting of a variety of oak trees and other local species. Green manicured lawns as far as the eye can see, and more than 2000 olive and fruit trees growing solidly on the farm. Beyond the original iron gate at the entrance, kilometres of nature which is still largely uncontaminated.

A great dedication to organic farming makes this property a distinguished business in the area, known for producing fresh herbs, fruits and vegetables which are often used in dishes made with love by the hotel chef, Pasquale. Some of the trails lead further out onto an ancient oak forest, if you feel like exploring you cannot miss the “Magic Oak Tree”, a very special spot in this woodland surrounded by fragrant Scotch broom, cyclamen and rhododendron, where guests choose to rest in quiet meditation.

Alternatively, after a day of sightseeing in Todi, pick a good seat in one of the town bars or restaurants, even better if it's on the outside terrace, and get ready to sample game meat and special hearty dishes which complement beautifully the floral and fruity white wines of the area.
