A catholic wedding in the heart of Florence town

Following a day spent together in the scenic city of Siena, our lovely bride and groom headed over to Florence for a catholic function held at the beautiful Chiesa dei SS Apostoli in Florence. The initial idea for their destination wedding after they had been already married in a religious ceremony with 400 of their people in Monterey, Mexico was to ‘renew’ in a sense their union, or replicate it in the home of their forever dreams, with a very special and stylish event in a total look Italiano.

Florence has so much charm that it's hard to resist and the Tuscan countryside is a whole adventure in itself. Green hills, winding roads, local farmstays, rich food and wine tradition, and so much art to frame this pretty picture. This old-world luxury farmstay on the hills of Chianti naturally embodied the ideal wedding retreat where Natalia and Patricio's group of Mexican family and friends could relax on sunloungers by the private pool, loving the gentle rhythm of nature and celebrating with each other.

Natalia and Patricio's notes

For this wedding we had a big helper navigating the planning phase and making sure Natalia and Patricio's ideas could get on the wedding stage, Natalia's dad.

Our superstar planner Fede put together all the requirements and options that could satisfy this young couple's interests and encourage their choices. Thanks to a wonderful team of creative minds we made wonders to transform this wedding in a movie set of joy, fashion, ancient charm and family.

The action plan

How did we pull it off

We were overjoyed to see how well Natalia and Patricio and their closest people were treated in the lovely borgo where this historic castle-turned-farmstay was.

For the three days of their stay, this is where they indulged in tastings, wine temptations mixed with a series of food delicacies prepared onsite and sourced locally, in typical Tuscan fashion.

After all, this castle is a farm first, and retreat for tourists second.

The setting on the wedding day at the outdoor reception was glowing. Fairy lights shining on the golden trims of the tableware and the elegance of all the chosen props and candles turned the atmosphere into such an inviting, thoughtful and classy reception. And let's not forget Natalia's wish for a U-shaped dinner setup decorated with a gold allure, against a pale palette of rose and yellows, just divine!

These two lovebirds were picture perfect and true naturals in front of the camera, so we know for sure that our photographer and videographer had a great time putting together all the more instagrammable shots, so make sure you don't miss the features of this gorgeous day on our Instagram page.
