The villa features its own private pier and can be reached by boat allowing for an impressive entrance that will amaze all your guests. Surrounded by a magnificent garden with romantic alleyways lined with statues and elegantly trimmed hedges, the villa is a real dream for an exclusive wedding on Lake Como.

The villa can be rented just for the ceremony or also villa for the cocktail and the reception. Ideal to enjoy a spectacular experience to enjoy with your friends and families, wedding ceremonies can be celebrated outdoor with views on the lake. At Villa del Balbianello it is possible to perform legally binding civil blessing ceremonies.

Depending on the guests’ number, ceremony can be celebrated on the Terrace (small groups) or under the Loggia (bigger groups).

For groups smaller than 50 guests, the ceremony can be celebrated also while the Villa is still open to tourists (this option is cheaper than having the Villa in exclusive). For groups of 50 persons and over, ceremonies are only allowed when the Villa is closed to public visitors and therefore with the Villa booked in exclusive use. 

Villa del Balbianello has only two small indoor rooms (Library and Cartographer room) available in case of bad weather or for special requests. The rooms are set facing each other on both sides of the Loggia.

Dinner under the Loggia (which is the only roof-covered place of the Villa) is allowed only for groups of up to 45 people. With over 45 guests dinner is served in the gardens where a marquee is mandatory.

The villa is an exclusive historical venue and is not provided with on-site accommodation, bridal couples and guests can stay in close proximity to the villa in hotels and B&Bs. Located just few minutes away from the city center of Lenno, the villa is just 45 minutes away from Como and 1 hour drive from Malpensa airport. An ideal setting for an exclusive wedding on Lake Como with guests arriving from all over the world.
