Clara and David

Blessed by the peace of the natural surroundings

Villa Deciani is the iconic setting for your classy fairytale wedding

Right here where the Northern hills blend with thick woodlands and luscious green pastures these two souls chose to walk the aisle side by side, in the heart of the border region of Friuli Venezia GiuliaVilla Deciani is the perfect spot for a destination wedding in Italy, where the past lives on the surface and the future peeks from behing the shade of the mountains at dusk.

The shared history of the two lands, Austria where Clara and David grew up and live, and Friuli, once territory of the Augsburg’s monarchs is woven into the fabric of this terrain. That's exactly what we're looking for, a solid connection with the location of your destination wedding to make this the wonderful starting point of your journey.

The vision

Clara and David's notes

During the planning, our trusted Aurora supported the bride with her infinite ideas for the floral design and the art direction of the event. What a joy to share so much inspiration with our couples, it's certainly a big part of our job that nourishes us incredibly. Like we often say, a wedding is a work of co-creation between the planning team and the future newly weds.

We worked on their vision board to ensure that the key wishes for Clara and David would always be a steady presence in every wedding moment: the white element, greenery and lots and lots of flowers.

The action plan

How did we pull it off

Royal, simple eloquent elegance, that was the main ingredient making Clara and David's wedding the wonderful day that it was.

The location and structure of this villa gave a true Downton Abbey effect to the planned event, especially considering this was such a romantic occasion.

Clara's bouquet and its natural botanic shape filled with whites, cream and greens and recalling a romantic 'undone' design.

The wedding ceremony held in the front courtyard with such grace and sentiment, where we felt that the agreed 'no phone policy' became a beautiful invitation for guests to stay present and enjoy every emotion. The few lower clouds creating a playful game of shapes and shades in the sky, as if this had also been planned. The petals cones tossed at the end of the ceremony. The gelato cart and its retro vibe offering strawberry, lemon and chocolate ice creams to all greedy guests.

And finally, the fun entertainment for guests ensuring that they stayed relaxed and engaged, with a painting workshop for the more daring characters, and a table where people could beat each other at Tombola.

The party later on moved in the Cantina for the DJ and dancing until early hours, this wedding had it all!
