La Cervara

Be tempted by the quiet character of this location to cheer on your blessed future together

An incredible venue perched on a cliff along the Italian west coast, called Riviera. It is for sure one of the most exclusive wedding sites in Italy for high-end weddings. 360 degree sea view, great privacy, beautiful outdoor setting with floral gardens, private halls with frescoed walls. Located in the vicinity of the luxurious site of Portofino, this is a secluded venue that will respond to your needs for a private and exclusive event.

The property features the only garden overlooking the Mediterranean sea in the entire region. This garden style, designed according to the Renaissance tradition is exceptionally placed facing sea the despite the possible salt damages to flowers and plants, making this venue a rarest gem. The overwhelmingly poetic view of the Gulf of Tigullio on one side, and the cape of Portofino on the other will stay with you for a long time.

We recommend this venue only to couples with a wedding budget that allows for the venue rental fee and other mandatory costs starting from 20K euros.

Event options for your day

The variety of areas available to host events allow couples with different preferences to choose according to their needs. The outdoors is divided in two terraces with a fantastic view on the gulf, a typical cloister courtyard, the famous Italian garden with perfectly manicured hedges and a very private and romantic area named Agrumeto. Inside, the big wedding hall together with the Salone degli Arazzi (the tapestry room) are ready to welcome any symbolic celebration, and wedding reception of your choice.

The location fits outdoor civil or symbolic wedding ceremonies, or religious marriages or blessings, which can be officiated in the church on site.

A pleasure for all the senses

Liguria is one of the most gorgeous stops on your Italian wedding journey. Perhaps what visitors like best of the Riviera is the great focus on the general ambience and the great natural beauty, which takes over from more traditional must-see attractions such as castles, churches, palaces, and museums.

Snuggled between rocky cliffs and the Ligurian sea, with houses that seemed to be stack on top of each other along steep, narrow main streets. A territory that is largely protected for its unique geography and vegetation composition, with many natural reserves both on land and at sea. Everything reaches down to a very pretty little piazza, where crowds of tourists wait patiently for boat rides while taking countless pictures of the quintessential scenario.

On the western coast only about one hour drive from here, you can admire the highly talked-about Cinque Terre area. Famous for its colorful houses, this skinny land extending over 5 gorgeous villages (cinque) pridely feature traditional, small residences owned by the local fishermen and one of THE reasons making this place a beautiful destination.

The yin and yang of the Riviera

If you truly want to enjoy Italy’s Riviera the proper way, hiking is the way do go through with it. You're in for a real treat and the best part is that, besides the nice little houses you'll encounter and the glowy shades of the Mediterranean at sunset, the views you get in this region of the water, the layered terrace farms and greenery around will take your breath away.

Things visitors love to do here include walking the trails along the cliffs or in the mountains behind the coastal towns, pausing for a gelato while checking out the local grandpas playing cards, staying at the beach for a sunbathing day the 'Italian way', filling your camera with gorgeous pictures of some of Italy's best panoramas.
