Civil legal marriage ceremonies are performed in the Palazzo Comunale of Assisi in the lovely Sala della Conciliazione. The venue is in the heart of the town at minutes from the main sightseeing spots.
It is also possible to organize a blessing following your civil ceremony in a nice church for those who cannot get married in Church, but still wish to be blessed by a pastor, a priest or a spiritual Father. The blessing of the rings is no related to the civil wedding in Assisi, but an extra service which is not part of the official paperwork.
