The marvelous Loggia, is a splendid historical building dating back to the 15th century that has answered many different purposes throughout the centuries, some of which could be considered as… unusual… originally built as town hall (as it actually is also nowadays), the building served also as a philosophy school, a theatre, a fencing gym and even as headquarters of the Lansquenets!

As a result of a great fire during the 19th century, the building had to be entirely rebuilt: the reconstruction works were nonetheless carried out in total respect of the original building style.
