In the small square, the Church seems to challenge the waves of the sea to offer its visitors absolute breathtaking views. The church was built on 1318 by Antelami masters in a gothic Ligurian style and dedicated to the patron of the village, celebrated on July 20th. This magnificent building presents two peculiarities: the impressive bell-tower, with an octagonal shape is 40 meters high and the entrance, which is settled in the Apse, instead of the façade. The inside is divided in three aisles, and is reached by going up various stairs. The whole structure bases its foundations on stone and the west façade overlooks the sea. The church can host up to 200 persons. Any sacred classical music is allowed during the ceremony prior priest's approval.
